Frustrated Because You Can’t Get a Six-Pack?
You are not alone…We often encounter patients who are frustrated because despite strenuous exercise, a well balanced diet, dedication and the desire to obtain a defined and chiseled look, they just can’t get a six-pack abdomen.
Evolutionary speaking, a well-defined male torso, especially the abdominal musculature, is a sign of strength and health and is highly attractive.
Even for very dedicated athletes with rigorous exercise routines, the six-pack can be a point of frustration. We see many patients that exercise everyday, work hard at obtaining a well-defined abdomen but, due to their genetic predisposition, tend to accumulate fat over these areas.
In reality, very few people posses the right combinations of genetics, dedication, exercise and caloric restrictions to obtain the highly coveted six-pack. In general, athletes are unable to get good visualization of their abdominal musculature until their percentage of body fat is down well into the single digits. This requires impressive dedication to caloric restriction and can often cause thinning or debulking (muscle loss) of other areas where it undesirable (such as the extremities).
Until recent developments in advanced liposculpting, exercise along with dietary restriction was the only method of achieving the six-pack. With the invention of 4D Hi-Definition Liposculpting by Dr. Alfredo Hoyos in South America, obtaining a natural looking six-pack suddenly became a possibility. Our surgeons have trained directly with the inventor of the technique and have mastered the skill to bring 4D Hi-Def to Nebraska. 4D Hi-Definition liposculpting is a technique that allows the surgeon to approach the body through the eyes of a sculptor. During 4D Hi-Def our surgeons eliminate the layers of fat that hide the abdominal muscles and then by carefully “edging” around the natural body musculature, the six-pack is enhanced, producing a more athletic and chiseled look.
Not everyone is a good candidate for 4D Hi-Def liposculpting. The ideal candidate is healthy and within 30 pounds of their goal weight. Hi Def patients will need to continue to live a healthy lifestyle after their procedure to maintain their amazing results *.
It is very frustrating to be doing the work and not seeing the results that you want so badly. At Imagen, we understand that and want to help you reach the goals you work so hard to attain! You can check out the results of our 4D Hi-Def Liposculpting here.
